There's so many reflexology modalities. The one I use is based upon Laura Norman (NY) who's philosophy is that by relaxing the feet, relaxes the whole body. My first experience with reflexology in massage therapy school turned me off from it because the instructor was brutal. She was not happy unless you were crying. However, my first experience receiving the Laura Norman treatment sent me into an ultra relaxed state that I never experience any other time. I start with hot towels. One of my favorite essential oil for the feet is peppermint. It cools your dogs, relieves pain and assists breathing.
